Panni Gyulai

Panni Gyulai is an illustrator, animator, and visual artist based in Budapest. She graduated from the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design in 2018, where she now teaches in the animation program. Her practice blends fine arts and storytelling, often drawing from personal narrative and emotion to create vibrant, character-driven worlds. Originally drawn to painting, Panni later discovered animation as a medium that allowed her to combine her love for visual art and narrative. This intersection remains central to her work today, whether in solo projects or collaborative productions.
Panni’s illustrations often reflect her curiosity about inner worlds, community dynamics, and the poetic details of everyday life.
