Fábián Balogh
Animation artist , illustrator and university lecturer
Fábián Balogh is an animation artist and illustrator. He obtained his MA degree in Animation from Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design in 2018 with his short film Our House, which was screened at numerous international festivals. His visual style often incorporates elements of surrealism, naïve art, and classic American cartoons.
His path into art and the animation profession began through graffiti. He is a member of the FUSS art collective, with whom he publishes printed materials and zines and directs music videos. In addition to this, he works as an illustrator and creates pencil drawings. Since 2020, he has been teaching in the Animation program at MOME, and is currently working on his first independent short film.
