Attila Pacsay

Mr. Pacsay is particularly known for his music written for films, television, and the theatre. His compositions encompass a wide variety of music from chamber music and symphonic works to jazz pieces and contemporary music. He has twice been nominated for the Jerry Goldsmith Award and has been invited to attend the Berlinale Talent Campus #9 during the 61st BERLIN INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL. Films with original scores were screened at numerous festivals in Cannes, Berlin, Venice, Annecy, Los Angeles, New York, Toronto, Peking, Tokyo, etc., winning more than 70 awards in total. The most prestigious personal achievement in cinema so far is the Academy Award Nomination of Maestro in 2007, an animation relying heavily on the rhythm, humor and ambience of the original score.
